As a young boy I found a camera in the forest. It was on a family trip in Germany. The moment of finding the camera is a clear "picture in my mind". I remember the colour of my father's car, the lush green field where the car was parked, the beautiful weather and even the smell of the grass. We were all laying in the grass, my brother, my two sisters and my parents. Playing, picnicking and relaxing in a fine, good mood. As we started to pack up to travel again, something caught my eye. I rolled over and had a clear view of something brown lying in the long grass. It was next to the inside of the right rear tyre of my father's car. As I told you, I have a clear picture of that moment. I picked up the brick like leather case and handed it to my father. We were all amazed. The case opened to reveal an old, but perfect 6x9 Zeiss Ikon folding camera. As we were the only people in this field, what should we do? Put it back in the long grass and loose it again? Not a good idea. Bring it to the police? I can't remember what happend. The "picture in my mind" gets blurred here.
I still have the camera. One day I will take a picture and put the image on the internet.
